These nail stickers contain a small circuit and a LED light powered by NFC.
(They light up near Near Field Communications devices.)
This will work with most recent model Android phones,
you can check to see if it's available on your phone by
searching in your phone's settings
(see screenshots below from my Galaxy S5).
Note that it won't work with iPhones,
not even iPhone 6
But there are more NFC devices other than a cellphone
that could power your nail stickers,
such as certain credit card readers or transit ticket scanners!

Use gel or acrylic to create a base coat on nail,
place the sticker on desired area and encase it
with another layer of gel or acrylic.
Be careful not to cover up the light.
